The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) is the UK’s national business network promoting trade and investment with China.

Since 1954 we have acted as the independent voice of business: located at the heart of the action, engaging across both countries in every sector and region. We support our Members, clients and partners by delivering the advice, analysis, advocacy and access which they need to seize the China opportunity.

Through our presence right across the UK and its office network in China, CBBC is uniquely positioned to serve its Members’ interests in the UK and China. Our diverse Membership includes some of the UK’s leading companies and universities, many of the most dynamic UK SMEs, and an ever-increasing number of Chinese companies exporting to and investing in the UK.

CBBC plays an important role in helping shape bilateral relations between the UK and China through our close links to the UK Government and the Devolved Administrations; the Chinese Government at national, provincial and municipal level; and the British and Chinese Embassies.

Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB), formerly known as Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (CCCB), is a non-profit and self-regulatory organization spontaneously established by Chinese enterprises in Bangladesh in October 2004 and was officially registered under the Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh in Nov. 2019. The mission of the Association is to promote the mutual contact and exchanges between the members, foster better relations within the other related associations/organizations, enhance the understanding and communication between the members and Bangladesh government agencies and business communities, promote the economic and trade cooperation and investment between China and Bangladesh, and strengthen the bilateral cooperation under "Belt and Road Initiative" and contribute to the social economic development of Bangladesh.

With the healthy and fast development of economic and trade relations between China and Bangladesh, the scale of CEAB is growing rapidly, with the number of registered members increasing from the initial dozens to more than 290 at present, covering trade, investment, infrastructure construction, communication technology, finance, shipping, energy, logistics, garment, etc. So far almost all the big Chinese Companies in Bangladesh are the members of CEAB, and it is the biggest Chinese association in Bangladesh. Since its opening, CEAB has successfully organized series of activities,such as “China-Bangladesh Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum 2021”,” China-Bangladesh Enterprises Cooperation Forum 2022”,”High-level China-Bangladesh Economic and Trade Forum 2023”etc.,To provide help and promote public awareness for its members, CEAB published “Chinese Enterprises social responsibilities reports in BD. Under the leadership of China Embassy in Bangladesh, CEAB will positively and continuously contribute to the development of China and Bangladesh economic and trade relations.

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) membership exceeds 8500 enterprises representing over 95% of the local business community. More than 140 Professional Associations are affiliated to the CCCI including 36 Bilateral Associations. Its wide range of services include advisory, provision of business information, foreign trade exhibitions, trade missions & business fora abroad, business training courses & seminars, advice on European Union issues, labour relations matters, issue of Certificates of Origin and ATA-CARNETS and participation in EU programmes. CCCI is a full member of Eurochambers, the International Chamber of Commerce, the European Association of Craft, Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Eurocommerce, GS1 and many other international organisations. Czech Banking Association appeared as a non-formal entity under its original name Banking Association in 1990. It was registered as a voluntary association of legal persons, doing business in banking and in closely connected areas. 

Centre for Developing Markets (Centre) was set up as a coordination hub that supports and facilitates business opportunities in early market-oriented economies and emerging markets. In cooperation with international financial institutions the Centre actively promotes the integration of Czech engineers, consultants and suppliers into the international business environment during preparation and implementation phases of infrastructure projects across developing markets.

Czech Infrastructure Association (ARI) is a private sector think-tank for the Czech public infrastructure, uniting views held by major infrastructure players including engineers, contractors, banks and consultants. ARI is pushing through the clear rules for planning, public procurement, and transparent contract administration in line with a proven good international practice, which will allow for the public infrastructure long-term sustainable development.

The Czech Technology Platform is an interested association of twenty two entities such as, manufacturing companies, universities, research and project centres / organisations from the area of civil railway engineering, which participate in the investment production, maintenance and verification of the railway infrastructure in the Czech Republic, in the sub-systems of infrastructure, energy, control, command and signalling, and interface sub-system.

The association has been a legal entity since 4th January 2008. It has been validated by REA as a legal entity, non-profit, private organisation. Its objective is the linkage of the scientific and technical potential of universities, research and project institutes together with the production potential of construction and manufacturing companies for the implementation of the following areas of activities:

• Support of innovation and increase of competitiveness of the members of the Association.
• Structuring and support of implementation of development, research and testing projects ensuring the existing production of the members of the Association with the requirements of the technical specifications of interoperability (TSI) of the trans-European railway system in the sub-systems of infrastructure, energy, control, command and signalling.
• Acquiring of financial funds for implementation of these projects.
• The application of the ratio of the members of the Association in international (European) activities related to the creation of new regulations for construction, production and maintenance and related tests and evaluation of the production of the European railway industry.
