Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh

Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB), formerly known as Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (CCCB), is a non-profit and self-regulatory organization spontaneously established by Chinese enterprises in Bangladesh in October 2004 and was officially registered under the Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh in Nov. 2019. The mission of the Association is to promote the mutual contact and exchanges between the members, foster better relations within the other related associations/organizations, enhance the understanding and communication between the members and Bangladesh government agencies and business communities, promote the economic and trade cooperation and investment between China and Bangladesh, and strengthen the bilateral cooperation under "Belt and Road Initiative" and contribute to the social economic development of Bangladesh. With the healthy and fast development of economic and trade relations between China and Bangladesh, the scale of CEAB is growing rapidly, with the number of registered members increasing from the initial dozens to more than 290 at present, covering trade, investment, infrastructure construction, communication technology, finance, shipping, energy, logistics, garment, etc. So far almost all the big Chinese Companies in Bangladesh are the members of CEAB, and it is the biggest Chinese association in Bangladesh. Since its opening, CEAB has successfully organized series of activities,such as “China-Bangladesh Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum 2021”,” China-Bangladesh Enterprises Cooperation Forum 2022”,”High-level China-Bangladesh Economic and Trade Forum 2023”etc.,To provide help and promote public awareness for its members, CEAB published “Chinese Enterprises social responsibilities reports in BD. Under the leadership of China Embassy in Bangladesh, CEAB will positively and continuously contribute to the development of China and Bangladesh economic and trade relations.
