Forum members

The German Hong Kong Association was founded in 1996 in Frankfurt/Germany and is a non-profit organisation with a total membership figure of over 100. The main focus is to develop and strengthen the economic ties between businessmen, institutions and organisations from Germany and Hong Kong. As a forum for establishing contacts, exchanging information and experiences we provide active and practical support to our members in all aspects of doing business in Hong Kong and China.

The German-Chinese Business Association (DCW), established in 1987, is Germany’s leading association helping enterprises, organizations, specialists, and executives grow and develop their business relations with China.

DCW is the German member of the EU–China Business Association (EUCBA) and the official German partner of the China Council of International Trade (CCPIT).

Launched by the G20 in 2014, the Global Infrastructure Hub has a mandate to grow the global pipeline of quality, bankable infrastructure projects. By facilitating knowledge sharing, highlighting reform opportunities and connecting the public and private sectors, our ambitious goal is to increase the flow and quality of private and public infrastructure investment opportunities. All countries, regardless of whether or not they are members of the G20, are able to work with the GI Hub.

As part of the HKMA, IFFO’s mission is to facilitate infrastructure investments and their financing by working with a cluster of key stakeholders. The functions of IFFO are:

• providing a platform for information exchange and experience sharing;
• building capacity and knowledge on infrastructure investments and financing;
• promoting market and product development; and
• facilitating infrastructure investment and financing flows.

By establishing IFFO, the HKMA can play a valuable role as a catalyst in the facilitation of infrastructure investments and their financings with its mandate to promote Hong Kong as an international financial centre.

About HKABA

The Hong Kong-Australia Business Association Limited (HKABA), initiated by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, was established in 1987 aiming to reinforce economic ties between Hong Kong SAR/China and Australia. Members are local businessmen with strong Hong Kong connections or those interested in doing business with Hong Kong and Hong Kong organizations based in Australia. The Association provides networking opportunities on which strong trading and investment links are built between Hong Kong companies and Australian companies. It also provides an effective channel of communications for information on economic development and trade opportunities in Hong Kong SAR/China.
